April 23, 2011 at 5:23 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a comment

I received this e-mail from the Governor of CT’s office a couple days ago.  Very cool and of course I said YES!!!!!!! 🙂

Good Afternoon Mr. Dunn,

My name is Nicholas Belanger and I am from the Governor’s Prevention Partnership (GPP) in Wethersfield, Connecticut. The GPP is a non-profit, public-private partnership dedicated to youth mentoring and prevention of youth violence, underage drinking and substance abuse, in order to build a strong future workforce. On June 9th the GPP will be hosting a Regional Law Enforcement Conference in Stamford, Connecticut; that will be focusing on keeping youth safe, successful and drug-free. Our target audience for the conference will be law enforcement personnel and prevention professionals from all across New England, New York and New Jersey.

We are currently in the process of accepting workshop proposals, and we were interested in having a workshop focusing on Internet Safety.  Having done some research, and reading nothing but excellent things about you; you became an instant candidate. If this seems like something you would be interested in, please contact us and we will provide you with more information.
